Sandford Parish N.S. is a co-ed vertical school under Church of Ireland Patronage. Sandford Parish N.S is a 13 teacher school, inclusive of an Administrative Principal.
Sandford Parish N.S. is an inclusive school where all children are welcome. The most important people in Sandford Parish N.S. are the children and we strive to ensure that each and every child reaches his/her full potential in an environment which is well resourced and child friendly. In addition to high academic expectations children are afforded the opportunity to participate in a wide range of extra-curricular activities including sports, speech and drama and chess. The school choir and ensemble rehearse twice weekly and lead the singing at school services, along with performing at the Interschool Cór Fheile. Sandford Parish N.S. is a single stream school which means children are part of a community where everybody knows and supports each other.

Applicants must be fully registered with the Teaching Council of Ireland, be fully Garda vetted and should have a minimum of 5 years teaching experience.
Candidates should display experience and understanding in a number of areas, including:
Demonstrate excellent people management, inter-personal skills, teamwork, leadership and communication skills
Have an in-depth knowledge of the Curriculum for all classes, including knowledge of the new Curriculum, and a range of teaching experience
A proven ability to implement collaborative school-based initiatives and to demonstrate evidence of leadership
Demonstrate a willingness to work closely with the Board of Management
Evidence of Continual Professional Development
A capacity to support the Ethos of the school
A minimum of 3 applications are required for the process to proceed
