The Board of Management of St. Patrick's N.S., Frenchpark invites applications for the position of Deputy Principal. This is a permanent position and the appointment will be made via open competition.
Applicants must be fully registered with the Teaching Council and have a minimum of 5 years teaching experience.
The roles and responsibilities for this post relate to the four domains of Leadership and Management as outlined in Circular 44/2019.The specific Deputy Principal duties related to the needs of St. Patrick's N.S. fall within the following four domains; (under the revised quality school framework 2022)
1.Leading Teaching and Learning
2. Managing the Organisation
3. Leading School Development
4. Developing Leadership Capacity
These duties are subject to review and change according to procedures set out in Circular 0044/2019.
Please send a letter of application along with a completed application form for Primary Principalship/Deputy Principalship for the attention of the Chairperson of the Board of Management.
Applications by post only and should arrive no later than 12 noon on the closing date. The envelope should be marked "Application"
