An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Duties involve :ensuring the safe transition of pupils with special needs from their homes to school and home again each day;liaising with parents and staff daily;ensuring all children are safe on school transport.Additional childcare and/or other relevant qualifications or courses (e.g. First Aid, Manual Handling, Positive Behaviour Support Strategies ,completion of Children First online training) would be of great benefit
Successful applicant will be required to work for approximately 3-4 hours daily for all days when the school is open. Hours will be confirmed when bus route is confirmed.
The hourly rate of pay is in line with the Department of Education and Skills guidelines for school transport.
This appointment is subject to Garda vetting requirements.
Candidates shortlisted for interview will be asked to bring copies of their qualifications to the interview.
