An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The purpose of the Supply Panel is to provide substitute cover in a designated cluster of 18 schools for teachers who are absent on short term substitutable leave.

Supply Panel Teachers will be appointed to Scoil na mBuachaillí, Clonakilty, (the base school) under a fixed-term contract until the 31/08/2022 and teachers will be paid to the end of the summer holidays.

Scoil na mBuachaillí will be seeking to fill these positions as swiftly as possible. As a result, candidates may be called to interview earlier than the standard designated timeframes in order to supply the other cluster schools with a sufficient number of teachers.

Travel expenses will be payable to the supply panel teacher as per DE Circular 0009/2015.
Appointment will be subject to current Teaching Council Registration, Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
