Are you interested in an exciting new career opportunity?
Are you interested in the creation of new Religion Education resources for students and teachers.
Veritas, is recruiting a Manager for its Religious Education department.
The successful candidate will report to the Director of Veritas.
The Role of Manager will include the following responsibilities:
• Management of the work of both in-house and external staff, and providing guidance and feedback as necessary.
• Liaison with editors, designers, IT personnel, typesetting and marketing staff to ensure that all parties are clearly briefed and updated in relation to schedules and delegation of responsibilities.
• To take part in the creative work of the Department as necessary, through writing and creation of IT resources.
• To ensure liaison takes place with external bodies, such as the National Associations of Primary and Post-Primary Diocesan Advisors, the Catechetical Council, CEIST, Le Chéile, ERST and other Trust Bodies.
• To co-ordinate effective piloting of materials and feedback from teachers.
• To participate in and delegate the provision of in-service for teachers, parents and adults for whom resources are being developed.
