An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Askeaton Junior National School is a mainstream school with one ASD class. This vacancy is for a permanent 0.83 S.N.A post (infant day ). This post is for an ASD class. Relevant QQI/ FETAC qualification is essential. Experience in working with children with ASD in a mainstream or special class setting along with other relevant qualifications /courses is highly desirable. Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel with supplementary panel rights, must furnish a certified copy of a completed Panel Form PF1 with their application.
Short-listing may apply. The position commences on 26/08/21 but the successful candidate must be available for 1 Croke Park Day commencing 25/08/21.
