An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Fixed Term/ Temporary Teacher required for St. Joseph's N.S., Leitrim Village, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim, Roll No 01125B, for the 2021 - 2022 school year, commencing Wednesday 1st September 2021. Please use the standard application form. Please include a current postal address on the form. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a face to face interview. Remote interviews cannot be facilitated. The successful candidate must be qualified, registered with the Teaching Council, be qualified to teach Religion, have a current Vetting Disclosure, have completed the Tusla Child Safeguarding e-learning training and must provide fitness to teach (via Medmark) prior to appointment. The successful candidate will be required to attend a Croke Park Day in the school on Tuesday 31st August 2021. Experience teaching a senior class, preparing a class for the sacrament of Confirmation and availability to participate in extra curricular activities such as GAA are all desirable. A panel will be drawn up from interviewed candidates for any vacancy which may arise in the school of similar or shorter duration within four months from the date of interview
