An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Solas Chríost National School is a developing primary school with two mainstream classes at each level from Junior Infants to 6th Class.

The school has 3 fixed term Mainstream teaching positions from 31st August 2021 to 31st August 2022. The school also has 2 Mainstream maternity leave positions from 31st August 2021 to until Easter 2022, with a high possibility of the contract being extended until June 2022.

The successful candidates whether or not taking part in the Droichead programme will be made feel very welcome and part of the whole school team. They will join a school where the education of all the children and the self-esteem of all is held at the highest level of importance.
