This post is shared between St. John's JNS and St. Paul's SNS. The hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. The successful applicant must be able to work the hours during the times as agreed by the Principals/Boards of Management.
The job description entails the following duties (this is not an exaustive list);
General maintenance and repairs to both interior/exterior of buildings and grounds, for example: grass cutting, strimming, weeding, hedge cutting, painting, organising classrooms, maintaining equipment, waste management, ensuring that heating, lighting and alarm systems are working properly, making sure that windows and doors are locked when the building is not in use.
Candidates should have practical DIY skills to carry out minor repairs.
As a keyholder the candidate should be in a position to respond to alarm call outs.
Duties will change in accordance with the needs of the school.
Candidates must be flexible and work off own initiative.
Children First E-learning Programme and Garda Vetting essential before job commences.
