An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Appointment will be subject to, but not limited to, satisfactory references and compliance with current Garda Vetting requirements.
Candidates must have experience working as a SNA in classroom setting with students with a variety of needs - Autism, Speech and language difficulties, ADHD, challenging behaviours and Complex Needs. Candidates must work well as part of a team, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.
Duties may include administering of medicine and supporting students with diabetes.
