An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St Mary's Special School caters for students with moderate, severe and profound intellectual disability aged 4-18 years. In addition, many students have additional needs such as autism and complex medical conditions. The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment. Our post-primary aged students engage in the Junior Cycle Level 1 programme. Knowledge and experience of PECS, Lamh, positive behaviour strategies and crisis intervention/management is an advantage. Training will be provided as needed. The school participates in the Droichead Programme.
Interviews will take place between the 5th July and 9th July 2019.
