Recruitment of Visiting Teachers for the NCSE
Description:
The National Council for Special Education (NCSE) seeks applications from suitably qualified teachers to work as a visiting teacher for children who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing or as a visiting teacher for children who are Blind / Visually impaired. The appointments are on a fixed-term (temporary) basis, for one year.
The posts may be filled by secondment. Please note the interview timeframes at the end of this notice.
The NCSE currently has vacancies for Visiting Teachers for Children who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing in the following teams: South East Team 2, Dublin Team 1, West Team 1 and West Team 2. While there are vacancies for Visiting Teachers for Children who are Blind/Visually Impaired in the following teams: North Team 1, South East Team 1, South East Team 2, South West Team 2 and West Team 1.
Closing date for receipt of applications is 12.00 pm (midday) on Monday 24th June 2019. Candidates should email completed application forms to hr@ncse.ie.
NB. It is anticipated that interviews will take place on June 26th, 27th and 28th 2019.
