Additional Information:
St. Joseph's Adolescent School is a special school that caters for adolescents ages 13 to 18, experiencing mental health difficulties. Most of our students are enrolled in a mainstream secondary school and attend our school on a short term basis, (for approx. 6 weeks), while attending St. Joseph's Adolescent Mental Health Service. We are looking for a teacher to join our team to cover principal admin days, sick leave, in-service release days, maternity leave, etc.
Our aim is to:
- provide our students with access to a broad and fulfilling curriculum;
-support them to rebuild lost skills and build on current skills;
-regain self-confidence;
-experience a sense of enjoyment in learning;
-support them to return to their mainstream school.
We would love to welcome a new enthusiastic teacher to join our team who is flexible and adaptable to meeting the needs of our students.
An experience of teaching a wide range of subjects is desirable.
