Afterschool Practitioner
Description:
This job requires the employee to work in our Afterschool which runs from 1.20 - 6.30 Monday to Friday for 38 weeks to coincide with school calendar. Every employee is required to complete a garda vetting form and Children First e-learning programme
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
* Be capable of assisting children with their homework
* Show a kind and caring attitude towards children and colleagues
* Develop a trusting relationship between children and parents
* Promote and maintain a happy and relaxed environment
* Ensure high standards of care is provided
* Ensure good standard of hygiene within the environment
* Perform any other reasonable duties that may be assigned
* Be familiar with and follow policies and procedures of Hopscotch Afterschool.
