POST DETAILS
Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Applicants must have the appropriate qualifications as set out in the DES circular 44/2014.
Applicants will be subject to Vetting Requirements as detailed in Circular 0031/2016 and Occupational Health Screening.
The position is for a 0.83 (infant day) post.
The successful candidate must demonstrate a willingness to work as part of a team and participate in school activities.
Practical experience in supporting children with a variety of special needs, including ASD, ADHD, DS and EBD as well as social & communication difficulties is required. Experience in supporting children with feeding and toileting needs is required.
