Applications are invited to the position of Special Needs Assistant to cover fixed term maternity leave contract until May 2027. Applicants will be placed on a substitute SNA panel for this academic year.
* The position will be filled pending approval by the Department of Education and in accordance with DES regulations and relevant circular, The Board of Management of ECS and subject to Garda vetting requirements, medical fitness and children's first certification.
* Competencies must include: experience working with children with autism is desirable, working well as part of a large SNA team and working with children with a variety of primary care needs is essential.
* Must have successfully completed Level 5/Level 6 SNA Qualification.
