Christ The King BNS is a mainstream school with 2 special classes. We foster a nurturing environment for our whole school community. We are a restorative school and positive relationships are at the heart of all we do. We are a vibrant school and we seek enthusiastic and motivated teachers to work with a highly dedicated and supportive staff in line with our school mission, values and to help our school community grow and succeed.
Collaborative teaching and working is fundamental to CTK BNS.
We have a number of children who have additional learning needs and who need carefully personalised learning opportunities. We are looking for teachers who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school. Each mainstream class is supported with an SNA who works closely with the class teacher in supporting our SEN students.
Overview of Vacancy:
1)1 fixed term position. This post will be in a multi-grade classroom.
2) Applicants must be flexible and have the ability to work as part of a team.
3) Experience of DEIS is an advantage. Applicants need to demonstrate a commitment to DEIS approaches and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of students in our school.
4) Excellent planning and organisation skills required.
Our staff team is friendly and welcoming, supporting one another, sharing good practice and working together to ensure the best possible outcomes for all of our children. We are looking for teachers who are energetic, innovative and enthusiastic and can contribute to our team, working on their own initiative and willing to go the extra mile.

Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements, Teaching council registration, Occupational Health Screening, completion of the online TUSLA Child Safeguarding Training, recognised Certificate to teach Religious Education and satisfactory references.
