Scoil Bernadette is a co-educational post-primary special school, which caters for the needs of students aged 12 – 18 years with mild general learning disabilities. The aim of the school staff is to provide a secure, caring and supportive environment, through the provision of post-primary social, personal, academic, vocational and relevant life skill programmes. We run Junior Cycle, Senior Cycle, LCA, TY and other adapted curricula to meet the needs of our students.
We are seeking to employ a Resource teacher from 22nd December 2026 until the 21st June 2027, to cover a Maternity Leave.
Our Resource teacher is required to work with the existing Resource team and contribute to whole school activities and events, they will work with class and subject teachers to deliver the curriculum and support students learning by taking smaller groups, 1:1 work with students and taking whole classes when needed
The appointments are subject to reference checks, Garda Vetting, Teaching Council Registration, BOM and Patron approval.
