The successful candidate must be flexible and willing to work across the school, including in mainstream classes, Special Education Team or one of our autism classes. Deployment may be changed at the discretion of the principal.

Criteria - Qualifications and Experiences:
The successful candidate will hold the relevant qualifications, have relevant experience, Teaching Council Recognition, certificate to teach Religion
The successful candidate will have Fliúrseacht ag labhairt Gaeilge
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable knowledge of ‘A Quality Framework for Primary Schools’; the four domains within the dimension of learning and teaching: ● Learner outcomes ● Learner experiences ● Teachers’ individual practice ● Teachers’ collective / collaborative practice
The successful candidate will be expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
The successful candidate should:
*Be warm, patient and child-centred.
*Be flexible and able to respond to changing needs.
*Be committed to the Catholic ethos and the Christian values of our school.
*Work well as part of a team while also using their own initiative.
*Demonstrate strong communication skills.
*Demonstrate the ability to relate well to people, solving issues as they arise.
*Understand the importance of confidentiality and professional boundaries.
*Be willing to undertake relevant training and professional development.
The terms and conditions of the position will be in accordance with the relevant Department of Education circulars.
Appointments will be subject to, but not limited to, current Garda vetting requirements, Medmark Occupational Health Screening and satisfactory references.
It is a requirement to hold a valid Statutory Declaration and to complete the Form of Undertaking for this position upon offer of employment.
