St Thomas' SNS is a DEIS Band 1 school in Jobstown Tallaght home to 330 pupils and 50 staff. It is a school that has been at the heart of the Jobstown community for over forty years and community values have been central to everything we have achieved for those forty years. Our school motto is " Every Child is Valued" and we pride ourselves in being a place where all members of the school community are provided the opportunity to teach and learn in a positive, safe, supportive and collaborative atmosphere.

We place a strong emphasis on setting high standards for all members of our school community- academic, personal development and extra curricular. Staff and pupils are continuously supported in all facets of school life. St Thomas' SNS is a European School of distinction for ICT and we are at the cutting edge of all new ICT education initiatives. Our vibrant website will show you this. We are a trauma informed school that has restorative practice, equality for all and emotion coaching at its core so as to create a safe, harmonious environment.

St Thomas' SNS is a wonderful environment with numerous and essential programs operating at a very high level on a day to day basis. It would be an excellent place for newly qualified teachers where they will be supported and guided as they start off on their career. Also an excellent school for experienced and dedicated colleagues to work in.

This position is a long term subbing contract in 6th mainstream class for the rest of the academic year.
