Portmarnock Community School invites applications from suitably qualified and enthusiastic teachers for the position of Irish Teacher, to commence as soon as possible.

Portmarnock Community School is a co-educational Community School with a long tradition of academic excellence, student support and participation in the wider life of the school. We are seeking a teacher with a genuine enthusiasm for the teaching of Irish and a commitment to engaging and supporting students in their learning. The successful candidate will join a committed and collaborative staff team and will have the opportunity to contribute to the wider life and continuing development of the school.

Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to school life.

The successful candidate should be appropriately qualified and registered with the Teaching Council.

The position is available for an immediate start and applications will be considered as they are received. The school reserves the right to close this competition before the stated closing date should a suitable candidate be identified. Early application is therefore advised.

The appointment will be subject to Department of Education regulations, Teaching Council requirements and Garda Vetting.
