Panel of Applicants: An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St. Joseph's Special School have a vacancy for two fixed term SNAs. One position is full time and one position is four days per week. Initial duties will be in a special class for Autistic children with a diagnosis of Severe to Moderate general learning disability. Experience and qualifications in supporting Autistic students with Additional Needs, use of PECS, LAMH, low arousal approaches and the TEACCH approach are desirable.
