Applications are invited for the post of Youthreach Resource Person SEN (Literacy and Numeracy) – 35 hours per week approx. (17.5 hours Fixed Term Contract and an additional 17.5 hours Fixed Term covering Job Share)
Direct Class Contact: up to 20 hours per week and 15 hours administration
English/Literacy - 5 hours per week approx.
Maths/Numeracy 5 hours per week approx.
Social Education/SPHE 3 hours per week approx.
LCA modules - 7 hours per week approx.
Our programmes require Resource Workers to provide direct class contact and resource duties in the delivery of the programme. A high degree of motivation and commitment to a student-centred model of learning is essential.
It is an advantage if the candidate has a post graduate qualification in Special Education Needs/Learning Support or be in the process of applying for or completing this qualification.
