Home Tuition Teacher - Malahide, Co. Dublin - Up to 20 Hours per Week
Description:
Parent seeking a qualified and Teaching Council-registered teacher to provide Home Tuition for a 6-year-old child in Malahide, Co. Dublin, under the Department of Education and Youth Home Tuition Grant Scheme 2026/2027.
The child has been approved for 20 hours of Home Tuition per week under the Special Educational Needs category.
He is autistic and requires a patient, supportive and child-centred approach. Experience supporting autistic children and/or children with additional educational needs would be highly desirable.
Tuition will focus on age-appropriate primary education, communication, engagement and learning in accordance with the child’s individual educational needs.
The successful tutor must be appropriately qualified, currently registered with the Teaching Council of Ireland, and meet all Department of Education Home Tuition Grant Scheme requirements, including the applicable Garda vetting requirements.
Location: Malahide, Co. Dublin
Hours: Up to 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hours and days can be discussed depending on tutor availability. Applications are also welcome from teachers who may be available for only part of the weekly allocation.
Commencement: As soon as possible following written approval/sanction of the tutor by the Department of Education and Youth.
