An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This position is for 0.83 hours (Infant Day), subject to review by the NCSE/Department of Education and Youth.
The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of a team and to be flexible and responsive to the evolving needs of the pupils and the school. Candidates should demonstrate patience, kindness, sensitivity and a caring approach, together with a willingness to undertake relevant training and CPD as required.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute positively to the work of the existing school team and to undertake duties as directed by the Principal in accordance with Circular 0030/2014 and any relevant Department of Education and Youth circulars, guidelines and procedures in force.
The successful candidate will also be required to undertake Croke Park hours as applicable to the post.
