An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St. Hilda's is a special school; we educate students aged 4-18 with Moderate, and Severe to Profound I.D. Many of our students have complex and diverse needs. We are seeking dedicated and passionate teachers to join our committed staff team and become part of a supportive school community, alongside our wonderful children.
This role is best suited to experienced teachers, or newly qualified teachers with a strong passion and demonstratable commitment to Special Education.
Applicants should have experience of working with children/young adults with ASD, Moderate I.D. epilepsy, ADHD, as well as children/young adults with physical disabilities, medical, and personal care needs. Experience in using LÁMH and PECS is desirable. Applicants should have training, knowledge, and experience of managing behaviours of concern.
Initial duties are for 1 student presenting with moderate/S/P GLD/ASD and complex needs.
We have secondary-topped status which means post-primary teachers are eligible to work here full-time, as well as primary qualified teachers. We are a Droichead School that follows the Primary School Calendar and hours.
