Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Board of Management, having initially advertised this permanent vacancy on this website on the 21st day of August 2026, hereby gives notice that it is extending the period within which an expression of interest may be submitted by a teacher on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Armagh, Co. Louth, by two calendar days.
An expression of interest should be forwarded to the Chairperson of the Board of Management from the relevant panel to St. Ita’s Special School, Drogheda, no later than 2pm on 1st September 2026, being two calendar days from the date of this advertisement. Following this the Board of Management are now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition from 1st September 2026.
