Cork ETB invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the post of Administrative Principal of Rochestown Community Special School under a Permanent Contract of Employment to commence once interview process is complete and onboarding has been finalised.
Rochestown CSS is a special school catering for pupils aged from 4-18 years with a diagnosis of Autism and a mild or moderate intellectual disability.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Be fully registered with the Teaching Council under Route 1 (Primary), Route 4 (Other) or Route 2 (Post Primary) with the Teaching Council
• 5 years recognised teaching service, two of which must be in a recognised primary or post primary school within the Republic of Ireland.
• Significant experience with children who have a diagnosis of Autism/Autistic Spectrum Disorders and/or Special Education Needs is desirable.
• A post-graduate qualification in Special Education is desirable.
