Malahide Portmarnock ETSS invites applications from qualified, innovative and enthusiastic teachers for the position of Technology Teacher to join our vibrant and developing school community.
MPETSS opened in 2018 under the patronage of Educate Together. We are committed to providing an inclusive, student-centred, and active learning environment. Our school is multi-denominational, co-educational, and equality-based. We place a strong emphasis on creativity, collaboration, and community in all aspects of school life.
The successful candidate will:
Work in a state-of-the-art new school building with modern facilities and well-equipped specialist rooms
Have the opportunity to develop the Technology Department, including contributing to planning, curriculum development, and the purchase of new equipment and resources
Contribute to the expansion of our Senior Cycle provision, as the school plans to offer additional Leaving Certificate technology subjects in the coming years
Bring additional qualifications or experience in Engineering, which will be considered a strong advantage
Demonstrate a commitment to active methodologies, student voice, and collaborative planning
Engage fully with the school’s Educate Together ethos, policies, and extracurricular life
Shortlisting may apply. A panel may be formed from which future vacancies may be filled.
