This is a Catholic School with a strong Catholic ethos. SNAs are required to uphold the Catholic ethos of the school.

Successful candidate must work well as part of a team, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.
The following abilities are desirable:
• Knowledge and experience of working with children with mobility and intimate care needs; ASD and/or complex needs; Downs Syndrome; EBD, etc.
• Experience of working with children with challenging behaviour and promotion of positive behaviour strategies.
• Experience in the use of Assistive Technology.
• Child protection training and certification.

A Special Class for children with ASD is being opened in the school this school year. The successful candidate may be required to work in this class.
