The Board of Management of St. Michael's NS initially advertised two permanent vacancies on staffroom.ie on July 3rd 2026, for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Meath. The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was the 8th of July 2026.
The Board of Management is now proceeding to fill one permanent vacancy through open competition.
St. Michael's NS is a small, rural school with a rapidly growing demographic. We are a child-centred school focusing on the holistic development of the child. This encompasses the emotional and physical well-being of the child as well as academic achievement.
We are looking for a candidate who aspires to support and scaffold the development of the children in their care. The ideal candidate will also work to support and embody the Religious Ethos of our school. They will be flexible and open to teaching in any mainstream class grouping or in our Autism class.
Please Note: It is anticipated that interviews for this position will be held on Friday the 28th of July.
