Scoil Mhuire Lourdes, Loughglynn invites applications for a fixed-term Shared Special Education Teacher (SET) position for the 2026/2027 school year.
This is a shared SET position between Scoil Mhuire Lourdes, Loughglynn and St Anne's, Castlerea. The successful candidate will work three days per week in St Anne's, Castlerea and two days per week in Scoil Mhuire Lourdes, Loughglynn.
Scoil Mhuire Lourdes, Loughglynn is the base school for this position.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative teacher with a strong commitment to inclusive education and supporting pupils with additional educational needs. Experience in Special Education Teaching is desirable.
The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, flexibility, and an ability to work collaboratively with class teachers, support staff, parents and the wider school communities.
Appointment will be subject to satisfactory references, Teaching Council registration, Garda Vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening and all relevant Department of Education requirements.
