An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
We are inviting applications for a new permanent teacher, who will initially be assigned as the Special Class teacher in our new class for children with autism. Future teaching assignments may include Special Education Teacher (SET) and Mainstream Teacher roles.
Our panel operator has given permission for this post to be advertised through open competition.
Our new Seomra Ághais special class will open at the start of the 2026-2027 school year in a purpose-built classroom. This is an exciting opportunity to help establish the class, with support from your colleagues. We also have four multi-grade mainstream classrooms and teachers and two SET posts.
You will be joining a welcoming and inclusive school community where we value pupil and staff wellbeing and high standards of teaching, learning and care.

Interviews will be held immediately after the closing date. It is hoped that the successful candidate will start as close to the school re-opening date as possible.
