An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Íde Primary School is a base school for 3 supply teachers, serving 11 schools in the Clondalkin village area and surrounds, along with north Tallaght.
The supply teachers will work as per the Scoil Íde school year calendar and Croke Park hours schedule. Working as a supply teacher also qualifies for a travel allowance. On days that the teacher is not booked to work in any of the schools, they will remain in Scoil Íde.
Working as a supply teacher provides you with a vast amount of experience, teaching and learning in various schools and settings.
Teachers must be qualified to teach the Irish language.
