An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The duration of this appointment will be for the remainder of the school year ie until the 18th of June 2027.
Scoil Bhríde is a vertical school with 4 mainstream classes and 3 well established classes for pupils with Autism. Working as a team is a crucial component in creating an inclusive, integrated and successful learning environment for our pupils.

We are seeking a highly motivated, flexible and committed teacher who:
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to inclusive education.
• Has experience or a willingness to work with students with Autism and complex learning needs.
• Has excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates creativity, adaptability and initiative.
• Is committed to working as part of a multidisciplinary and whole-school team approach.
• Has a strong commitment to student wellbeing, communication and positive behaviour support.

Experience or knowledge in any of the following areas would be desirable:
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication)
• Lámh
• Positive Behaviour Support
• Total Communication Approaches
• Special Education

Experience in special education is desirable; however, applications are welcome from all suitably qualified and registered teachers who demonstrate a willingness to learn and a commitment to supporting students with additional needs.
