The Board of Management invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the following teaching post in 2026/2027 school year.
Specific Purpose – Parental Leave Geography and Mathematics

The closing date for receipt of completed Application Form and associated information via email (to principal@kilrushcoms.com) is 12th August at 12pm. Please put the Education Posts Advert ID number in the subject line of the email. KCS facilitates the Droichead process for NQT's.
Please Note:
a) Completed applications should be submitted by email only to principal@kilrushcoms.com
b) Criteria of Assessment include:
o Professional Qualifications
o Interpersonal communication skills
o Capacity to contribute to the overall development of a learning organisation.
o Relevant Experience
c) Panels may also be formed from these competitions from which appointments may be made to fill vacancies equal to or of shorter duration than advertised.
d) Any offer of employment will be conditional on the teacher being registered in accordance with Section 30 of the Teaching Council Act 2001.
e) Shortlisting may take place.
f) Garda vetting will apply
g) Canvassing will disqualify.
h) Late applications will not be considered.
i) The above post, even though advertised, may not be filled or hours may be amended.
