An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Bus Escort required for St. Michael’s House Special School, Raheny Dublin 5 - approximately 15 hours per week (Mon – Fri) spread between the mornings and afternoons.
The role of this bus escort is to supervise one child with special educational needs travelling to and from the school on a bus with other children and an escort. The rate of pay is €15.98 per hour. In addition, holiday pay at a rate of 8% of hours worked is paid 3 times during the school year. Employment is during school term only from the end of August to end of June annually.
The vacancy is on a route to the Darndale/Coolock area to and from the school in Raheny. Experience of working with children and an understanding of children with intellectual disability is desirable.
Appointment will be subject, but not limited to: satisfactory references and current vetting requirements. Department of Education guidelines apply.
