Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The successful candidate may work with children in our mainstream and/or special classes who require additional support.
Experience working with pupils with Autism and emotional, behavioural and communication difficulties advantageous. Previous experience of working with children with ADHD is also beneficial. Experience in TEACCH, PECS, Lámh and positive behaviour strategies desirable.
Candidates should be: energetic, flexible, trustworthy, able to work on their own initiative and also as part of a team. They must be willing to undertake CPD courses which relate to the needs of the children & the school. Candidates will be required to fulfil all hours relevant to their day and Croke Park Hours also.
All appointments subject to successful completion of: Garda Vetting Procedure, Occupational Health Screening & TUSLA Child Safeguarding Training.
