Applications are invited for the post of Special Class Teacher catering for Autistic children in O’Brennan NS, under a Fixed Term Contract of Employment for the 2026/2027 academic year.

O’Brennan N.S. is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher who is willing to contribute to the overall development of the school.
The successful applicant should demonstrate a commitment to inclusive education and the ability to meet the diverse learning needs of pupils. A strong interest in, and/or experience of, teaching pupils with special educational needs, particularly autistic children, is desirable. Experience of working in a special class setting and a commitment to supporting the educational, social and emotional development of all pupils will be an advantage.
Appointment will be subject to Teaching Council Registration, current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening. Applicants must hold a relevant certificate to teach Religious Education
