Ballyvaughan NS is a welcoming, co-educational Catholic primary school located in the heart of the Burren, Co. Clare. We pride ourselves on fostering a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential. We value teamwork, collaboration and strong relationships with our pupils, parents and wider school community.

Ballyvaughan NS currently has 2 mainstream class teachers. This post is for 20 hour per week. However, there may be additional EAL hours available to bring this to a full time post.

An element of this post will take the form of in class support teaching. Multi class teaching experience is desirable.

Appointments will be subject to current Garda Vetting requirements, proof of Teaching Council registration, completion of TUSLA Child Safeguarding Training, confirmation of relevant teaching qualifications, satisfactory references, Occupational Health Screening and approval of our Patron.
