An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Ballyvaughan NS is a welcoming, co-educational Catholic primary school located in the heart of the Burren, Co. Clare. Ballyvaughan NS currently has 2 mainstream class teachers. This post is for 20 hour per week. However, there may be additional EAL hours available to bring this to a full time post.

An element of this post will take the form of in class support teaching. Multi class teaching experience is desirable.

Appointments will be subject to current Garda Vetting requirements, proof of Teaching Council registration, completion of TUSLA Child Safeguarding Training, confirmation of relevant teaching qualifications, satisfactory references, Occupational Health Screening and approval of our Patron.
