The Special Needs Assistant (SNA) posts advertised are two Infant Day, Job Share (half week) positions, for one year. The successful candidate(s) will join a vibrant team of staff, which includes an allocation of 16 SNAs at Scoil Bhríde, Kilcullen. The successful candidate(s) will support the care needs of children in Mainstream classes, working alongside the Mainstream Class Teacher (MCT) and Special Education Teacher (SET) and other SNA staff. The two Job Share positions may be combined into one Full Time position.

Enrolment & Staff
Enrolment for 2026/2027 is 636 students, representing 449 families. Currently, our staff includes 41 Teachers (including administrative Principal and Deputy Principal), 16 Special Needs Assistants (SNAs), two full-time School Secretaries, one full-time Caretaker, four Bus Escorts for Sonas and four Cleaning Staff.

Requirements
We invite applications from candidates who are qualified SNAs and are Garda Vetted. Candidates should have some knowledge and professional experience relevant to the role of SNA in a Special Class.
