An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Board of Management of Castletown Girls' School, Dundalk invites applications from suitably qualified teachers for four fixed-term teaching positions for the 2026/2027 school year.
The vacancies comprise:
- Two fixed-term teaching posts to cover approved career breaks.
- One fixed-term teaching post (2 days per week) to provide Deputy - Principal release cover under the DEIS Plus scheme.
- One fixed-term 0.5 job-share teaching post (week split with changeover on Thursdays).
Applicants are requested to indicate in their application whether they wish to be considered for:
-the career break fixed-term posts;
-the 2-day Deputy Principal release fixed-term post;
-the 0.5 job-share fixed-term post; or
-all of the above.
Interviews are expected to take place during the week of the 17th of August 2026, subject to the availability of the interview board.
