An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

We are advertising for two SNA positions: a Standard SNA position and a job-share SNA post (working Thursday, Friday and alternate Wednesdays). We will assume all applications are for both positions unless otherwise stated.

Applicants holding a Panel Form 1 (PF1) should clearly state this and supply a copy of the form as part of their application.

The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
• Experience of working with children who require support across a range of learning, sensory difficulties and/or intimate care needs
• Evidence of working with children with complex needs in a mainstream setting
• Experience working with pupils with Autism, Down Syndrome, Epilepsy and/or ADHD advantageous.

Candidates must show a willingness to work as part of a team, be flexible and display a strong work ethic.

Appointment is subject to vetting requirements, Occupational Health screening and TUSLA Child Safeguarding Training.

These positions are subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review.
