Scoil Triest is a special school for students aged 12-18 years who have a dual diagnosis of Autism and mild / moderate intellectual disability.
There are currently 14 Class Teachers, 6 Subject Teachers and 41 Special Needs Assistants on staff.
Experience of working with students with a dual diagnosis of Autism and intellectual disability is essential. Experience of working in a Special school /Special class is essential.
Additional relevant courses(e.g. First Aid, Promoting Positive Behaviour Support Strategies, CPI, Lámh etc) would be highly desirable.

Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary panel with supplementary panel rights must furnish a certified copy of a completed Panel form PF1 with their application.

Interviews are expected to take place on Monday 24th August 2026 (this may change).
