An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Ballyraine National School is a mainstream school with one special class under joint Presbyterian/ Church of Ireland management . We invite applications for
1x fixed-term teaching positions created by a job share.
2 x specified purpose teaching positions
The successful candidate may have initial duties in our Autism class/Shared SET position /EAL [4 days a week ] - the final decision on assignment will be determined in line with school needs and priorities.
Essential Criteria
Applicants must:
Be fully registered with the Teaching Council of Ireland.
Have successfully completed the Droichead induction process.
Meet the Irish language requirement for appointment to a primary teaching post.
Highly Desirable Criteria
Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate:
Knowledge of and experience in teaching pupils with a range of complex educational needs.
Knowledge of and experience working in Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings.
Personal Qualities
