St. Anne’s Special School, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary
St. Anne’s Special School caters for students aged 4–18 years with moderate and
severe/profound intellectual disabilities. The school currently has 9.6 teachers and 22.5 SNAs
supporting the delivery of individualised programmes of instruction.
Applicants should have:
Experience working with children and young people with general learning disabilities (GLD),autism, and additional needs in a special school setting.
Knowledge of low-arousal approaches and positive behaviour support strategies.
Experience or familiarity with communication systems such as LÁMH, AAC, and visual supports.
Safety Intervention (CPI) training is desirable.
Appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting and Occupational Health Screening
