The position is for an infant day post (0.83 of a full-time post). Candidates must have a strong work ethic, respect the ethos of the school and be flexible and willing to work under the direction of the class teachers, SET coordinator and school Principal. Scoil Íde has an Early Intervention autism class and a School age autism class. Relevant experience working in an ASD class, assisting autistic children and with Intimate care needs are desirable.

Applicants must satisfy all DEY appointment criteria.
The post is subject to review by the DEY/ NCSE.
