Flowerfield National School is a co-educational Church of Ireland school under the Patronage of the Bishop of Meath and Kildare. This vacancy is for a Deputy Principal Teacher.
The following skills and knowledge are desirable:
• Proven leadership skills, including policy development and implementation.
• Strong organisational skills, with experience in prioritising and planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in leadership and
teamwork.
• Ability to maintain the school's existing vibrant and supportive atmosphere.
• The ability to encourage and foster the involvement of parents/guardians and
the wider community in school activities as appropriate.
• A strong work ethic and motivation and enthusiasm to lead.
The successful candidate must be fully registered with the Teaching Council of Ireland, be fully Garda vetted and will be subject to Occupational Health screening.
