An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

We cater for children with mild to moderate learning difficulties.
Bus Route Location: Rathfarnham to Blackrock Route.
Starting 27th August 2026 (subject to Department funding)
It may be possible for bus to collect you en-route to collect student or meet you somewhere convenient if live near area. This can be discussed at interview stage.
Experience Required: Experience of working with children and/or children with Special Needs preferable, but not essential. Must be kind, caring, patient and work well with children.
Responsibilities: Accompany/supervise one student with Special Needs to and from school, on school transport.
Will be required to engage with parents/school via WhatsApp, regarding bus delays, pickup times and school closures.
Hours of work: Term-Time only (You will not be required to work during school holidays).
Monday to Friday.
Exact times to be confirmed with Bus Eireann, but likely to be the following:
8.30am – 10.00am
1.00pm – 2.30pm
Please note: The above hours are subject to change and are likely to increase during the first term of school.
Salary: €15.98 per hour (Paid monthly)
Holiday hours accrued are payable at Christmas, Easter and at beginning of Summer holidays.
